What was this blogger’s reason for doing this?

First of all, depicting Michael Steele as a minstrel was neither accidental nor random. The specific reason is this: a couple of weeks ago, as I posted, Bob Erhlich was attending an event at an all-white country club. Steele was asked what he thought of that, being black and all. He said “it was no big deal”.

Now before some of y’all go AH-HA, please note that the country club was all-white not whites-only–huge difference. Based on his perception, this was Steele’s way of selling out because he didn’t have an irrational response like him.

For starters, I could care less if this was a Liberal or Conservative website. What is unfortunate here is that here it is 2005 and people cannot disagree on political issues without resorting to digging up racist images from the past. I may disagree with Liberals (a fact that I do not hide), but you will never hear me or see me resort to this garbage to make a freakin’ point.

Once again, black folks online and beyond are faced with yet another test–give this entire issue a pass simply because they are anti-Bush and Liberal or raise it! When Bennett made his “racist” comments, everyone had something to say. My guess is because it largely had to do with the fact that he is a Conservative.

Again, this is not my way of attacking “the other side”. You know what? Screw the other side. In fact, screw all sides when it comes to stuff like this.

I must admit that since you were outraged at the Sambo image, I assumed the writer over @ The News Blog was NOT Black. Well, needless to say, the image has been changed. And based on the article, if it is factual, then the use of Sambo was applied as it has been historically.

It’a amazing that lib’s and dem’s alike cry racisim for pandering purposes only.Could you imagine if it was a Conservative website that published this trash.ABC,CBS, AND NBC WOULD RUN IT RIGHT INTO THE GROUND.The Baltimore Sun did not think enough of this to even run it on the front page.
