The tiny northwestern Kansas town of Nicodemus has been named one of 15 national sites of diversity by the National Trust for Historic Preservation. It is the only site in the Midwest. Nominations were taken from preservationists and people interested in promoting diversity, said Jeannie McPherson, spokeswoman for the National Trust.
