“I received a BS in Accounting. I worked as a Tax Accountant for several years. After many grueling tax busy seasons, I decided it was time for a career change. I enrolled in a Masters program and received a MS in Biology focusing in Molecular Genetics. Currently, I’m in my fifth year of a PhD program at Northwestern University. My thesis focuses on using molecular bioengineering tools to develop a devise that can be used extracorporeally to purify blood.”

As you know, there are so many blogs out there: Some good and some…well let’s just put it this way—ZZZZzzzzzzzz!
What immediately caught my attention about her site was her bio. Anybody that is willing to go through such a drastic career change and has lived to tell the story automatically has my attention. She provides very good commentary on current events from a very unique perspective. Like anybody else, we may not see eye to eye on everything, but I must say that I enjoy reading her blog when I get the chance during the day. Sites like this are not commonplace in the blogsphere, that is why I want to do my part here to bring more attention to this “diamond in the rough”!
