As for the claim that in Iraq millions of people do not have to live under constant fear for their lifes is wrong. Recently an epidemological study has been published in Lancet (one of the top medical journals of the world) that the probability to die due to violence is – for the average Iraqi civilian – 58 times higher than under Saddam. This study left out Fajullah and other sites of higher combat activity. If these places are included, the probabilty to die violently is much higher. In other words, the probabilty to die because of violence has risen by 5800% (!) or – Iraqis have to fear much much more for their lifes than under Saddam.
