WASHINGTON – Civil rights activist Jesse Jackson joined the campaign of Sen. John Kerry on Wednesday as a poll showed support for the presidential candidate slipping among black Americans, a critical Democratic constituency.

The Pew Research Center said Tuesday its latest poll showed 73 percent of blacks supporting Kerry compared to 12 percent supporting President Bush. In 2000, Al Gore won 90 percent of the black vote. (full article)

The Democratic party is now getting mad that their loyal and most trusted field hands (the Black community) are now beginning to escape the plantation in droves. The Massa from Massachusetts has now dispatched his most trusted field foreman:

I’ll I’s be back black!

(sigh) Yes, it is true. Jesse Jackson has been hired to scare some sense into what he thinks are mindless voters. So be prepared for more ghost stories and scare tactics aimed towards the Black community. (sigh again) The only problem with this plan is that Jesse has lost a lot of his juice with our community. “Keep hope alive” does very little to a population that is more and more moving out of poverty and into middle class and beyond. Sorry Jesse, jim crow doesn’t scare us anymore.

This is just pathetic!
